Executive Directors Welcome

Welcome to the Adventist Regional Conference Retirement Plan. By the grace of God we are nearing our tenth year of operation. We set out to fix a system that was broken and the Lord is still leading us toward success. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the success of the journey thus far. His grace will lead us on.

As I move around in the sponsoring conferences and in the North American Division of our Church, “retirement in dignity” for those on and off our Plan is a constantly recurring refrain.

I must say it again. Our members and workers have always carried a Godly thankful Spirit-blessed pride in what the Lord accomplishes in these earthen vessels. Rarely was it pride in ones self. Living to be worthy of respect remains an honorable objective. We have never needed wealth to feel worthy of respect. So while entering retirement without having to battle for our daily bread remains an objective, it is the knowledge that the Lord is our Shepherd that assures us that we “shall not want.”

So as you visit this site please keep that in mind and rejoice with us as we continue the journey that leads to “Finishing the Work.”

Native of New Orleans, LA

He is the second of five children having two brothers and two sisters

He married Judith Elaine Bryant – Los Angeles, CA in August 1966

They have three adult daughters and three grandsons

He was educated in SDA Schools from first grade to the seminary graduating from Oakwood College and Academy

Attended the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University

Pastoral assignments include three conferences – South Central, South Atlantic, Southwest Region – over an eleven year period

Other positions held in denominational service are: Youth Director 12 years; Conference Secretary 9 years (six years concurrent with youth director assignment); Conference President 12 years.
