Executive Directors Welcome

Welcome to the Regional Conference Retirement Plan, a work in progress. We have been in existence officially for five years and operational since 2002. The road we traveled to get here came by fasting and prayer, vision and determination to begin to fix something that needed repairing. We take nothing for granted and the few bows we take are filled with gratitude to a merciful and loving God. In other words, we know it was and is the Lord.

In the journey that got us here our stated goal was to provide a way for our workers to retire in dignity. Over time, my description of the stated objective has changed slightly. Dignity is an interesting word that uses respect to define itself. There is another word used in its defining – pride and the thought of pride in ones self.

Our workers have always carried a Godly thankful Spirit-blessed pride in what the Lord accomplishes in these earthen vessels. Rarely was it pride in ones self. The quality of being worthy of respect – yes; A composed or serious manner – yes; insistence on being treated with respect – yes; Self-demanding respect for others – yes; Needing money to have dignity or feel respected – no! We have always had dignity even when we did not have a dime. Retirement without straining to live or battling for daily bread is our objective. I believe the Lord has brought us here. So as you visit this site please keep that ever in your mind and rejoice with us as the next generation of members and workers continue to “Finish the Work.”

Thanks for coming!
